10:00 am - 1:00 pm
The Finger Lakes Museum, in conjunction with Montezuma Audubon Center, will be hosting a 1-hour canoe/kayak paddle on the peaceful waters of the Guyanoga/Sugar Creek leading out to Keuka Lake. Look and listen for migratory birds in this no-experience-necessary paddle. Participants will visit the Hunt Country Vineyard tasting room for a selection of wine and food pairings. To wrap up the event, Daena Ford, President of Braddock Bay Raptor Research, will lead a live bird of prey presentation where you will get up-close views of hawks, falcons, and owls. The event will run rain or shine. If it rains, the paddle will become a guided birding hike at the winery. Bring your binoculars and camera to capture images of the beautiful habitats and wildlife.
Registration is available on the Montezuma Audobon Center’s website.
